well the main gist if the story is true. Used to live out in the country when I was a lad, and we had chickens including roosters. Yes we did kill the chickens and eat them. We killed a rooster because it was abusing the hens so to speak and they wouldnāt lay eggs. And yes it did wake me up every morning and I hated it. The rooster was never really a pet though. hehe
yes, percy, we kill pigs here in the villages at Christmas time. Also, sheeps and hens and other animals during the year, so we can eat a home-made meat. I am speaking generally now ā¦ poor animals.
