Probably not a vray specific question but, I have a memory that there is some map type that is best to use when setting up templates to model from. IOW - I have some pdf drawings and I am modeling a product form them. Top, Front, side etc. Typically I save these as jpg, map to planes and size to correct dimensions. Then I use these as templates to model over the top of. I seem to recall that there is some type of diffuse map that is better suited for this than standard bitmap. It makes the pdf/jpg maps easier to see in the shaded viewport. I cannot remember what that map type is. Does anyone know about this or have a preferred technique for displaying these template maps?
