I have been trying to texture a block instance but don?t seem to be able to do it, anybody any idea how to do this.
I am Struggling big time with the new texture editor just cant get my head round it. I hope v-ray will use an editor similar to that of flamingo. I am spending so much time trying to apply textures that I have almost given up with v-ray, and that?s a pity because its excellent at rendering.
Regards

texture block instance

I’m assuming your using the RCM tools to map - correct? Our texture editor only allows the simplest of mapping capabilities because we rely on RCM. RCM does not allow the mapping of blocks - you must explode the block and map its components. The RCM version shipped with RC2 has issues even with that though - but the one to be shipped with RC3 should allow for mapping the exploded parts and then making it a block again without the mapping being compromised.

Let me know if you need any more clarification or if I can be of anymore help
