The Fog is broken

The fog broke. The truth is, I was working and checking the options, and out of nowhere it started to turn black. Because of my lack of knowledge, I spent a long time trying to figure out if I had done something wrong. The truth is, it’s hard to learn this way when you don’t have a solid foundation…

I left a render showing what happens to me and another one opening the scene with the same fog values, where you can see that in one file it was fine, but after tweaking some values, the fog clearly gets ruined.

Hi, it’s been about 10 days since I started this query.
I’d like to know if there’s a solution, or if at least this message was read.
Thank you.

This might be a silly question but did you switch between vray cpu and gpu?
The difference in intensity of the fog differs between the two engines and some things work differently.
Like for example with vray cpu you can have your camera inside a fog gizmo (area that confines the fog)
vray gpu will render the same scenario incorrectly.

Hi friend, thank you for your reply.
You know what? I think you’ve hit the nail on the head here. I mean, I think so, because I’m still figuring out how these V-Ray things work, but as you describe, the MographPlus scene comes set up for CPU and I’ve been merging my scenes into a clean Blender scene that is already configured to use GPU optix. So yes, what you pointed out is exactly what happened.
Look, I’d need to do a few more tests to be sure it’s not a bug, but in this quick video you can see that when switching from CPU to GPU, not only does the fog lose strength, but the light color is completely absent. I’m no expert, but I get the impression that the light or its color shouldn’t change like that.

I don’t know, what do you think?
