The Third & The Seventh

Hi guys,

I want to share the final cut of my shortfilm “The Third & The Seventh”. It is finally done and i really hope you like it!

A FULL-CG animated piece that tries to illustrate architecture art across a photographic point of view where main subjects are already-built spaces. Sometimes in an abstract way. Sometimes surreal.

Its hard to put into words how beautiful that was. It oozes ‘Labor of Love’ Congratulations.

What did you use for your animated foliage and for your DOF?

Photography and Architecture

very well done! it really invoked a lot of emotion!

Very very nice piece of Art! Great job and truely inspiring!

@percy: If i recall right DOF was Physical Cam, but i might be mistaken.

Thorsten

If you look at his breakdowns, it appears the DOF was post.

Saw this on the weekend. Unbelievable. Some of the best CG work I’ve ever seen.

b

immensely beautiful

must admit that watching this short movie has been a sort of eye opening experience. it happens not very often to get a glimpse into how beautiful this craft of illustrating architecture can become.

Amazing work! as usual from you..Great rendering quality, excellent artistic eye, camera moves, etc…I feel like i’m so far a away to produce something like that it’s inspiring and depresing at the same time!!!..I hate you, Alex Roman

Fernando

Took my breathe away… congrats.

Simply wonderful
Great work i think it will be the quality reference for a huge amount of people in CG world

Wow! Thanks a lot for these warm comments! I’m really glad you liked it guys, i mean it

@Percy: Yep, DOF was made with AE (Lenscare). About windy trees i’m afraid i cannot say much more by now except it almost everything was done -animated- by hand. It’s a “in-house” procedure and will be able to share more info on this soon…

Thanx once more folks!

Regards,
A.
