Yes, the plugin (absence of mind) was compiled from older test back-up project and not fixed color calculation alpha channel. Uploaded the fixed version. Excuse for inconvenience.

What version you install? Old 1.0.0 have a bug with color calculation alpha channel, please re-download newer version (1.0.1 - fixed for Corona).

Map for Film IOR param? It’s possible, but why? When you use thickness map (usual noise or similar), it distort map thickness.
Yes, but somehow i find that variable film IOR gives more pleasant result, than thickness alone. But it may be due to the fact that i tested your plugin only briefly. I’ll give it another try.

If map will change the Film IOR parameter, it will already mean that film material not uniform - f. e., soap with chitin inclusion
But is possible to implement, I will think about it in future.

If need clear ThinFilm coat - use only ThinFilm plugin into reflection color (always disable material IOR param (999) - plugin calculates own fresnel curve). When need slightly film coated effect - best way to use Blend material or mixing (composite) maps. Here almost endless variation

One issue I’m having is having to use really low values in the nm amount. Like 0.01 min and 0.02 in max with noise as map in this example at value 5. Whereas this should be 500000 / 1000000. The limit you have here is 3000.
I wanted have .5mm to 1mm.
BTW> My max is setup with cm as system units.

Film thickness value not depends on system units - it’s internal float values and specifies film thickness in nanometers.

P. S. In most cases I’m using units cm. Only for very small models (f. e., jewelry, etc…) - mm, very large exterior - m., etc…
