BTW, if anyone willing to learn VRay has an issue with the default tread ordering of the forum, you can change it under your user CP:
User CP/Edit Options/Thread Display Options/Thread Display Mode/Linear - Newest First

Hey, take it easy! On top of the post dates in the forum, where it says “Last Post”, click that and it will sort posts by date.

lol, well it does kinda suck that there’s no info on when or if new members will be allowed to post in certain areas or view the attachments there. Or if there is some sort of FAQ like that, I haven’t seen it yet.

Well im must admit that i have the same point of view than the first post..
Not about this forum is a crap or trash but definitively not a very friendly one with the attachments and im agree the last post in the first page is some kind of weird compared the 99% of the forums..
But seems there’s a lot of great info here.. so keep this as a suggestion and take in mind this…

The first thread in the forum, which is a sticky, and is called ‘to all new signed up users’
It says in the first line:
“As of now, we are closing the larger part of the VRay forum. It will be available only for registered users of VRay. We are doing this in order to improve the support for our customers and to make sure they get prompt attention in case of problems.”
It also says how to get acess if you are a registered user in the very next line.
It’s not a problem with the forum.

Complicated to find important announcements on such a huge forum with many sub categories..
The point is im owner of Vray for Truespace.. Since they stop the “contract” (or what ever they had with Caligari) im not sure if i am a Vray user or not for Chaos groups eyes.
The point im here, is trying to make a question for a HUGE problem that Caligari left behind in Vray and it’s we can’t render Glass!!!
can you imagine this?? :roll: The bug is simple, the Glass emits light if GI is enabled..
I was Beta tester of caligari for many many years and also bLeader tester of the rendering area.. i “meet” vlado on the betaforum of caligari and they tried to fix some bugs but they didn’t solve the problem, and finally they stop contact the beta forum…
so i like to know if it’s possible to see or if there’s a single photon of light to solve that problem.. Im still in contact with some Caligari developers if he need something.. but Truly i beg that someone help us to solve that problem.. Nothing more! and i beg in name of all the truespace Vray owners that we try to still working with this amazing software called Vray.
I know there are much more important things for chaos group but honestly i like someone help us in this.. :roll:
