…i woudl also like to be able to see the model wires…i might actually write to the developer and request more detailed info about the possibilities when it comes to mesh density as i am quite skeptical the iPAD could handle multimilion poly tree mesh this fast

Have not had time to play with it myself but I have had it bookmarked ever since I ran into it a week or so ago.
was looking at speedtree and was cool to see it was used on avatar. I might have a project coming up where i need to simulate wind (from normal strength up to hurricane). how does speed tree deal with exporting animated models into max. I assume once i have it in max i can convert it to animated vray proxy
hmmm 895$ for creating trees and exporting animation ?! You can do that in GROWFX for 325$ !
the creation interface of speedtree seemed pretty awesome to me

i am really tempted now to even buy an ipad2 :)))…i will have to find out more about the poly limits first though

I want that ipad app lol… I hope the next google prime phone will be able to do it… I’d abuse it 24/7 on phone lol ^^

This is simply insane. Why on earth would anyone develop something as good as this, just for the ipad?
there are still people who dont have an ipad??? 
I got one as a gift for my parents. It’s a great little device, no doubt. The thing is, it’s only good for killing time. I can’t imagine doing anything serious with it. I guess I will buy the next gen iPad for myself. It’s perfect for surfing the internet while watching TV, hehe.
