Just wanted to test some translucent leaves… I ended up using just refraction on the leaves… ior set to 1.0 and blurriness all the way…

Didn’t have much luck with the translucency layer… Is translucency just like a fake SSS until the proper SSS is fully implemented?

Well… all I know is that I am sold… I will be buying the C4D Corona immediately when it is available!!!

I was surprised how good this looks with refraction. :smiley:
What translucency does is basically transmitting light from one side of the object to the other (at least I think so). SSS is a different thing.
