I just installed the latest Trial version of Phoenix for Max 2014. Somehow I can?t get the license to work. The mail that was send to me says. “You?ll need to enable your Online License at the final step of the installation to get started with your trial.” There is no such step during the installation process. When I open Phoenix and hit “Configure license server” I get to see the license settings for my Vray installation. Also the FAQ didn?t really help. Any help is much appreciated.
It looks like there is something unclear in the documentation.
I’ll find someone to help you with that and afterwards we’ll try to improve the Docs.
We have our Vray licenses running on a server. Do I need to install that license server for Phoenix additionally on my local machine ? Can this interefere in some way with my Vray license ?
Ok I finally got it working. Had to install the license server locally and than had to add localhost and our server to the license server settings so both Vray and Phoenix works.
