Tutorial: Use an image around your design!

This is a small tutorial, but i think it can be usefull for a lot of people so that is why i made this one:

I saw in some models from people that use v-ray for sketchup that they had very creative ways to include photo’s as a surrounding.

This is my method:

Small explanation:

I place a circle round my model and turns this in a cilinder. Then i delete de planes of the cillinder. First i make a plane that has the exact same height as the cillinder. This is because when you apply the texture within the cillinder it will give you a small piece of the cillinder with the texture and not the whole cillinder.

Than i import the picture / panorama by file → import → jpg as texture and place this on the plane. The you can go to the pain bucket and apply the texture on the inside of the cillinder.

I hope you find this usefull!

Greetings,
Proseduction

Another addition to this tutorial is that, if any of you decided to want to create your own Sweep Panorama View (which can also work for environment HDRI background) Image, consider buying these latest digital camera that supports Sweep Panorama effect (Sony NEX-3 or Sony NEX-5)
