Option panel , UNCHECK batch render,then go!
enjoy speed!
And more, you can operate on SU while rendering with the latest 01.00.74
(with default setting it was forbidden)
SU+Vray Material windows Conflict disable solution:
(This only happens on my desktop XP sp3,but Vista normal no bug .)
Never let SU "Material-edit"panel and Vray M open at the same time!
Just don’t do it.

Have you reported them to the ASGVis team? it might provide them with some info to what’s going on.

Just tried the lightcache workaround, a scene that took 1m 20.6s with Batch Render checked took 45.6s with Batch Render unchecked.
Another scene I tested:
With Batch Render and DMC secondary: 15m 29.7s
With Batch Render and Light Cache: 30m 58.8s
Without Batch Render and Light Cache: 17m 53m3s

Nice tip mate, not being able to work on my scenes while I was doing test renders was starting to annoy me…

+1 in my win sp2, got no problem,…can do that,..
the material tools really superb!!! and cut many uneseceries workflow.
