i have tyan 2895s mobo, which chipset driver should i install, Nforce pro or AMD 8131?

Yes i know the its chipset is nforce but the chipset installer for tyan 2895s also includes AMD8131. that is really confusing.

just click “Drivers” and you will be sure that you installing right drivers.

Your chip ‘set’ on your board includes the following:

-AMD-8131™ HyperTransport™ PCI-X Tunnel
-NVIDIA nForce Professional 2200 (CK8-04)
-NVIDIA nForce Professional 2050 (I/O-4) - Connected to CPU 2

So, you actually have three differenct chips in there controlling things. That’s why you need the nForce driver as well as the AMD 8131 driver.

Yes, it is confusing on these server boards. We’ve got 3 different boards like that so far in the office and keeping a driver library organized is tough.
