it appears the u wave and v wave under the noise tab in a vray ramp node is not working on gpu. works as expected on CPU. not sure if this is a limitation for all vray dcc’s
Should mention using latest vray (currently on trial to test it out) and c4d 2024.4

Thank you for reporting this! It appears that there is missing functionality within the V-Ray Ramp when used with GPU. I have raised this to the corresponding team under request number VGPU-6442. I will keep you informed here of any further progress regarding the matter.
