Hi, anyone can help with this?
Hi @stevenjjz , right away can you please ensure that your system fully meets our requirements:
https://learn.enscape3d.com/blog/knowledgebase/system-requirements-macos/
If so, and you are using both a supported CAD and machine kindly get back to me accordingly for further troubleshooting.
Hello,
I have the same error and indeed the version of my macOS is Big Sur Version 11.7.10, I have the latest version of Sketchup 2023 though that works like a charm. Can you direct me to a version of enscape compatible with my version of MacOs please ?
Regards
I’m afraid the built-in GPU only has 2GB of VRAM which generally will not suffice for Enscape, whether on MacOs or Windows. I wish I had more positive news for you of course, but at this point we can only reccomend upgrading to a more recent supported Mac/Windows machine if possible.
Let me know if you have any further questions what so ever.
I’m sorry to hear about that. Please kindly keep in mind that we really cannot offer support for our past releases of Mac for Enscape below 2.0, but you can acquire a previous release here at your own risk. Make sure to also use only SketchUp 2023 and no version beyond that like 2023.1 for example.
Thanks for your answer. I have installed the version you gave me but I still get the same error. To be more precised, my version of sketchup pro is 23.1.341. The version in the link you gave me should be compatible, right ? If that is not the case, please give me a matching encape version to install please.
The previous Mac release(s) prior to 2.0 do not support SketchUp 2023.1. There is no version otherwise I’m afraid, so you’ll have to downgrade SketchUp to 2023 ideally.
The message states :
Could not load Enscape.
Unable to find entry point “/Applications/ChaosGroup/Enscape/Enscape.Sketchup.Plugin.Host/EnscapeSketchupPluginHost”.
But when I have installed the version you sent here : https://we.tl/t-ZS4hqqiUnq it doesn’t install in “Applications” any directory ChaosGroup, there is just Applications/EnscapeApplication.app
It then seems you still have Enscape for Mac 2.0 installed. Please kindly make sure to follow these steps in order to ensure version 2.0 is fully uninstalled from your Mac: https://learn.enscape3d.com/bl…/getstarted-macos/#remove
Afterward you should be able to make use of Enscape again with SU 2023.
