Please accept my apologies for the very late reply - we were in the process of releasing V-Ray 7.1 over the past few weeks.
I’m happy to share that the provided scene appears to render as expected using the latest V-Ray 7 Update 1 release. If you’re not locked to 6.2, could you please give that a shot? Otherwise, we could investigate for a solution in V-Ray 6 although ideally, we hope artists will hop on a recent build that provides new features, performance improvements and bug fixes.
