I’m wondering if Chaos group would modify the license for vray to be used on any platform anytime soon …so if you have a license you could use it in 3ds Max or SketchUp instead to have another license.
The render nodes are already universal why not the workstation.?
I’ve heard from Vlado on EUE that they are thinking about it, but no details yet
We have considered this and we definitely want to make it available as an option at some point.

The plan to go there is vray standalone for all the platforms and an exporter per application like Maxwell and some other engines?
That would be AWESOME!
In my case…i don’t need two licenses because I’m the only one using vray… would be great if one could buy the other license for a fee and that license would be rollover to universal license when is available.
