hi all

can i use my laptop as a “small render farm” together with my desktop ?

if it is possible - can i get an explaination on how to do it ?
if not - why ?

also in another subject - what is the main properties in very options that affect render speed ?
is it the resolution and output size ? system tab ?

You can use any machine on your network for DR as long as you have the IP and the DR Spawner installed on it. Last I heard, DR was having issues with lastest public release though… not sure if its been resolved ot not.

The 1.05.30 works just fine with DR, your laptop will help,… not much, tough. Depends of the CPUs

Try to build a cheap tower with at least quad cpus, you’ll feel the difference.

what’s the quote ? " once you go rack you can’t come back "
