So it seems that after updating to Vray 6.2, using CTRL+X in Max to hide the toolbars also hides the VFB toolbars and buttons which I don’t like. Is there a way to revert back to the old behaviour? I looked through the VFB settings and couldn’t find any option that disables this.
Hi, thanks for posting. What version of 3ds Max are you using? I can’t reproduce this on my 3ds Max 2024 with V-Ray 6.2. Could it be some custom changes to your UI that cause this? Have you tried to reset everything to default?
Thanks for the quick reply. I haven’t made any UI changes. This happens on another PC here as well after updating. By the way, we are using 3ds Max 2023.
Yes, I meant CTRL+ALT+X, sorry! It’s the “Expert mode” toggle, as you pointed out. Is there a way to revert back to not hiding the VFB toolbars?
By saying it’s nothing new, do you mean this was always happening? For us this never happened until updating to V-Ray 6.2 and I really don’t like my VFB buttons disappearing.
Yes I mean it was always happening - the screenshot is from a previous versions of V-Ray.
