v-ray enmesh modifier not working with any shape with extrude even i convert it to editable poly

Do you get any messages in the error log ? In a simple experiment here I get a message that the extruded mesh has no mapping channels - Enmesh requires UVs to function. If I add an UVW Map modifier to the extruded shape - Enmesh renders ok.
