I get different contrast saving from VFB and opening in Photoshop or windows viewer.
The image in VFB has more contrast and stronger black tones.
Any advise on this?
Hi could you share a bit more details about your setup? What colour space are you rendering in, for example are you using ACEScg?
You are comparing the rendered result in VFB directly to the same one saved and opened in Photoshop right?
Keep in mind they will never be exactly the same and there is always a slight difference due to how Photoshop handles the colours. If it is a bigger difference though it could be something else.
Yes, I’m comparing directly from VFB and photoshop or Windows viewer and the difference is in the contrast.
I’m not using ACEScg. I use LUT with linear and I load ICC profile with mine calibrated one, so the colors are the same only the contrast. On VFB is slightly darker.
Adobe Photoshop always has had that difference compared to VFB.
Also as you mentioned there are differences between other viewing software.

This is expected because the each viewer reads the colour information a bit differently.
