Improvements

  • Live link can now be established even when Vantage / Envision is installed in a non-default directory
  • Support for multi-user Cosmos sessions is added
  • AI Mood Match is now correctly disabled via an environment variable CHAOS_DISABLE_GEN_AI

Node Editor enhancements

  • Added support for the UVW Placement node and all mapping sources of textures
  • Added Normal Map Flip texture support
  • A Copy option is added to each node’s context menu. Use it to make connections via pasting in the properties panel
  • Nodes can now be disconnected by dragging connection ends
  • The Falloff texture now updates and functions correctly in both the Asset Editor and Node Editor when used simultaneously
  • An issue with the synchronization between the Node Editor and Asset Editor when editing Layered and Multi-Sub textures is resolved
  • An issue related to removing multiple nodes simultaneously has been resolved
  • An issue where nodes restored from a previous session would not update correctly when connected is resolved

Bug fixes

  • Scatter cluster paint strokes aligned with the X or Y world axis are no longer ignored
  • Fixed slow updates in the Rhino Vantage viewport when moving the camera in Vantage
  • A crash when opening specific files created with V-Ray 5 is resolved
  • A crash when attempting to render specific projects is resolved
