V-ray GPU not working

Hello,

I started 3D modeling in SketchUp and rendering with V-Ray a few months ago. Recently, I upgraded to a new GPU (RTX 4080S) to enhance my workflow, as my previous AMD card was incompatible. However, I’m now facing significant issues; the renders keep freezing at random points during the process, mainly at image pass 0. Additionally, the rendering times are no better than those on my Ryzen 7 5700X, which should be slower. I’m at a loss as to what’s going wrong. Any suggestions?

To clarify, are you using Enscape or V-Ray? If you’re using V-Ray, please either post on the dedicated V-Ray forum here or open a Support ticket with our colleagues at V-Ray. :blush:
