Is this feature available in the Cinema 4D plugin?

Hello @SharkNinja Thank you for your question! V-Ray Light Gen is currently not available in V-Ray for Cinema 4D.

Would you say you find it useful and you wish you could use it in Cinema as well ?

Hi @viktor_angelov unfortunately it is not a feature I have been able to try as we dont use SketchUp. I have just seen it used in several videos such as one of the recent ones on ChaosTV and it struck me as very useful feature for interior scenes, which me and my team are starting to do more of in C4D.

Thank you for explaining @SharkNinja We are discussing the options to implement an extended version of the V-Ray Light Gen that would be useful for Cinema users. I am unable to share any additional information nor ETAs at the moment.
