I created a file on my home computer and when I open it at work, the material is not in the editor and the fur settings are gone…
Same Rhino (6.3.18090.471, 2018-03-31) and V-Ray (3.60.04) versions on both machines.
The only difference I see is that I have Windows 10 at home and Windows 7 at work.
I tried exporting the material but when I import it back at work nothing happens.
I join the scene and the output I’m supposed to get.

We were not able to reproduce on either Win 10 or 7 the behavior you described.
Please advise what is the full version number of the build you are using (3.60.04 is the V-Ray Core version).
Furthermore, please elaborate on “the fur settings are gone”? The VRayFur length map file is missing from your archive, but apart from that all parameter values are preserved, including the bend direction map.

It was not the latest V-Ray version… sorry!
I installed it on so many machines I forgot my main computer!
