Hi there
is anybody using macs out there? - just wondering if it works on pre-intel macs or not? (running Leopard)
I can’t find anything on the main site (and asgvis are being a little vague on the subject)
I don’t want to try the demo yet because I’m only just getting to grips with SketchUp (and don’t want to waste the 30 day trial)
thanks
steve

Re: V-Ray - OS X system requirements??
Hi Steve,
You sould able to see your request in the Wishlist section.
VFS isn’t supported under OS x right now.
I suggest you to install XP with Bootcamp.. this is what I do..
Cheers

cheers Tom
that’s a bit of a bind - I don’t know much about Bootcamp but don’t you have to reboot when you want to use OS X again? A lot of the 3D stuff I do requires 2D graphic work (exhibition stands) and as all my apps are Mac it would be a long winded process swapping back and forth
guess I need to look for another renderer

I gave it a try.. but no 3D support under any windows emulation via mac OS (Parallels, vwFusion,..). Bootcamp is the only option.
Indeed Steve, you need to reboot each time…
Usually I do all my 3d model and render under XP then I switch to MAC for the photoshoping.
Sometimes I use Maxwell or Vue6, I got the Mac licences for those one
