vantage and Forest pack

Hi,
I have a bug with vantage and forest pack:
when I have a sceen, very simple like a square with grass and I start live-link my forest pack doesn’t run. I had try to install again Vantage but it doens’t change.

Any idea?

Vantage 2.1.1
Vray 6.2
3dsMax 2024.2
7945Hx, rtx 4080 labtop, 64Gb ram.

They have said that Vanatge needs to be updated. I think it is being updated this week.

We have released version 2.2.0 of Vantage which adds support for the new way V-Ray for 3ds Max exports Forest and Railclone objects. Can you please download the new version and check if it works for you?

I try, now forest pack works but I see that forest edge mode doesn’t work
I also see that my scene is a lot more fast when I start the live link from the previus realise, maybe 3-4 time nice work!

We don’t have support for “edge mode” the way V-Ray 6 update 2 exports it.
If you want to use it, you will have to go back to V-Ray 6 update 1, until we implement it in Vantage.

Yes, what Vladimir said is true, we have the new edge trimming export logged in our system under LAV-1444.
