Is there a way to render a velocity render element from a 2D or 3D fluid container? my initial test.. tells me no, even if i try to convert the fluid to polygons and render the polygons but wanted to make sure.
Right now I don’t think it is possible. I’ll make a note to look into it though.
Best regards,
Vlado
thanks, my only other thought is to use particles driven by the fluid. because the particles will roughly follow the shape of the fluid, maybe if i use enough particles and sort of blur the result might get something close enough to work? or to use a softbody with particle surface driven by fluid, that way would get a sort of deforming mesh of sorts that might also work? best case would be if the fluids worked ![]()
