Currently the “background image” in the VFB color corrections tool is affected by LUTS and OCIO color corrections (interestingly it is not affected by the other color corrections). Generally this is a useful behavior, but It would be really helpful to have a checkbox to toggle that behavior on/off as desired. For example, having a LUT affect the render, but not the background image. Same for OCIO config. I know work is currently being done on a VFB2, so hopefully this could make it in. Thanks!

I agree. I would like to see a checkbox that prevents color corrections from being applied to the BG image. I don’t know about other people, but for my usage cases 99% of the time I don’t want the BG image to be affected by the color corrections.
That’s already on our list, although it is quite hard to tell when exactly it is going to be done. I’ve put a note to update the thread once there’s progress.
