Could it be that the color correction with an OCOI, in this case the filmic-blender-master_vray of this thread: click in combination with a curve correction, is wrong because the curves are applied before the OCOI? While using a simple S-curve correction my image gets washed out.
OCIO is always applied last - OCIO is a display transform, similar to ICC and is supposed to be the final transform on the image.
In any case, for the next version of the VFB, we are looking to allow rearrangement of the corrections order.

Great to hear Vlado. Maybe I’m doing things wrong then, but in the case of the filmic color mapping I’m not sure because I’m using it as a test for replacing highlight burn, and this one happens before the other ones.
