VFB history render time

I’m using vray latest version with max2012 sp1 and after saving an image on VFB history, i can’t see the render time of each frame. I’m quite sure that this worked before last vray update.

There’s something I need to check to let it works?

Thanks
Thomas

Hi Thomas,

It has always been like that. The render stamps are never saved with images in the VFB History. I think there were a couple of wishlist entries asking to add this feature in future releases, which would be very handy indeed!

Thanks John, but I mean the render time not into the stamp but next to the thumbnail of the VFB history panel. That one

I used to have these render times as in your image. ( Max 2011)
But somehow not anymore.

Yep, this is a bug; it is corrected now for the nightly builds and will be fixed for the next official update.

Best regards,
Vlado

I didn’t know anything about the existence of vray for max nighly builds!! …how can I get access to them? …if possible, of course

Well, it’s a double-edged thingy… the nightly builds are sometimes unstable, or have other issues while we work on stuff, so we don’t normally encourage their use for production work, unless you really need a fix or a feature from them. You can get them if you email me to vlado@chaosgroup.com

Best regards,
Vlado

I see, any eta for the official update?

It’s not yet firmly fixed, so this is not official, but my guess is that there will be a service pack in the autumn.

Best regards,
Vlado

Thanks for reply vlado

Cheers,
Thomas
