Hi all, I am working quite a lot with projections for expos, museums and stage design. I would love if there was a video projector vray light. I am using standard spot light with projector map but i have never managed to use the vray lights to produce the same effect. Tried with completely directional vray rectangular light but it works differently. I would love to have a vray light with good control for video projections. Lumens etc.
Tray standard directional light + mapping. (set near and far Attenuation).

I want the projection cone of a spotlight so directional lights are not good for that case. My problem with using the regular spotlight is that it is too faint or it burns the projected image, very difficult to create a nice crisp image. 95% percent i am faking it by using a texture but some times i want the projection to be in an uneven surface or to intentionally be projected on the people in front of the projection surface.
