View Shifting in Enscape

Hi Everyone,

When trying to set-up views (static renderings or walk-throughs), I adjust the view in Enscape so that I am looking up at a building. When I save the view, it brings it back to a default level. This happens when creating views through enscape, setting up views in walk-throughs, or adjusting views in walk-throughs.

I am currently working in Enscape 2.5.19. My host application is Revit 2019

The steps required to reproduce this issue include changing the target elevation in a 3d view through Revit, and then opening the view in Enscape (the target elevation does not change in Enscape). This same issue occurs when I am in walk-mode in Enscape, change my view to look higher up, and save the view. It defaults back to eye level.

See attached a few images of me testing this out.

Any advice is really appreciated. I have been working in Enscape for over a year and this issue has just started in working in Enscape 2.5.19.

Thanks,

Nick

I don’t know Revit, but it looks like you are not setting “views” - you are setting “keyframes”. (You can do both, but they are currently two different things.)

Hi @NinjaNick , thank you very much for your post and welcome to our forum!

You only posted a few screenshots where our Video Editor has been used to create keyframes - if you experience this problem as described in Views though, then you probably had two-point-perspective enabled? Should that be the case, please kindly update to our latest release, Enscape 2.5.2 in which we resolved a problem regarding this behavior.

If you’ve not used views before, and only made use of the video editor to create keyframes, kindly check out this article here.

Thank you in advance, please let me know if that doesn’t help!
