Viewport IPR - How do I do color corrections like highlight burn, curves, LUT, etc?

Does viewport IPR support color corrections? I can’t seem to find a way to control highlight burn, exposure, curves etc. Modifying these in the VFB doesn’t seem to change the visual appearance in the viewport IPR. Am I missing something?

We were wondering what to do about that and decided to wait a bit for user feedback (i.e. I wasn’t sure people would even want color corrections for the viewport IPR). We could tie the color corrections in the viewport to those in the VFB, if that would work best?

Best regards,
Vlado

Yes ,that would be great to have .

Yes, it would be really great if we could color correct the viewport IPR. I’m not an expert at UX design but from a user’s point of view tying it to the color corrections of VFB sound like a good start. Should I make a thread about this in the wishlist forum?

No need for a thread, I’ve made a note about it.

I use sometimes color corrections in the FB but I wouldn´t use it in the viewport i guess. maybe is an alternative to just set a a button to push/copy the render in the FB from viewport and having then there as usual the CC. I find vRay needs more attention to the FB itself to make it a bit better. (UI and some features) there should go resources probably

A button to push the viewport IPR render to VFB for further CC? Sorry but this doesn’t sound practical at all and I hope it doesn’t happen. After all, isn’t the main point of viewport IPR saving monitor space by not having the VFB open? Also, I’ll have to use that push button every few seconds while doing changes. At that point, why even bother with viewport IPR? I would just open VFB and do everything there and have real time feedback with proper CC.
