I have been using VRay/Sketchup on Vista x64 for a long time. But it seems that I am running into some trouble when SP1 is installed :frowning:

It seems to be VRayForSketchup.rb that causes crash. If I remove/rename the script, then Sketchup starts well. If I then load VRayForSketchup.rb via the Ruby Console, Sketchup crashes again. Does anyone else have this problem and have found a solution ?

I know that I could just uninstall SP1, and hope that would do, but someone might have found a solution :slight_smile:

I have the same problem , Vista 64bit + SP1 and Vray doesnt work with sketchup 6.00 , Vray 1.00 , any help ? thx

How many issues are you guys seeing with SU alone? Are there any issues with any other ruby plugins or scripts that you have?

I’ll see about installing SP1 and taking a look. I haven’t booted up into vista for at least 6 months, so I’m sure there’s alot of updating that its going to want to do.
