VIZ 2006 - missing DLL w/ EGZ mats

I’m able to install the EGZ beta materials like normal, and can create the materials just fine. But when I shut down Viz and re-open the same file, it says its missing the .dll for the materials even though its still there. Then when the file opens the material does not work, but it will still let you create new EGZ mats.

I’m sure its not a Vray bug, or EGZ bug, but has anybody else had the same problem with VIZ 2006 and found a solution yet?

I have the same pbl with max but Eggz run if you not click OK.
perhaps Eggz could have the solution.

Ahh, I will have to try that next time.

It’s strange it didn’t happen with Viz 2005.

My pbl was coming after I had start 2 3dsmax in the same time and shotdown one of these.
Very strange

This sounds very strange.. I don’t have VIZ so I can’t check if they work as intended in Viz 2006. Does this happen all the time? Is VRay assigned as renderer when it happens? Do you start Viz by doubleclicking the file, or do you start Viz, and then open the file?

priad: Which max version are you using?

max 7

with service pack 1?

How did you install the materials? Make sure you don’t have the mzp file itself located in the max plugin or script path.

thanks Egz
service pack 1
I haven’t mzp file in path.
my error is just for eggz light.
But it work. thi is just a warning.
