Hey everyone,
I’m currently researching which VR headset to get, but before deciding, I’m trying to figure out which apps actually do what I need.
What I’m looking for is pretty specific:
I want to create 360° virtual tours where the user can click on hotspots to move from one 360 image to another — ideally feeling like you’re in the same space, just moving around within it. Basically, a simple “walkthrough” made of 360 photos, not full 3D models.
I know there are apps like Sentio VR, Kuula, and Momento 360, but I’m still trying to understand which platforms (Meta Quest, Apple Vision Pro, HTC Vive, Pico, etc.) support this best — and if there are any free or one-time payment options rather than subscriptions.
If anyone has experience with this type of workflow — especially for architecture or interior design presentations — I’d really appreciate your input on:
Which headset you’re using
Which app works best for linking 360 images with hotspots
Any pros/cons from your experience
Thanks in advance!
