Vray 2.0 beta Scripts Error

Hi,

When starting 3ds max 2011 with the new Vray 2.0 Beta installed there pop up these script errors in the maxscript listener:

-- Error occurred in registerVRayQuadMenuItems(); filename: C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2011\scripts\startup\vrayutils.ms; position: 31060; line: 1069

>> MAXScript Auto-load Script Error - C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2011\scripts\startup\vrayinstall.ms Exception: -- No “”+“” function for undefined <<

Along with a pop up dialog that says:

“-- No “”+”" function for undefined"

Everything runs fine so far but maybe someone have a look at this…

Greets Ben

Hi,
Thanks for the note, we’ve saw the problem here and it’s fixed for future versions. It could be fixed by using the scripts attached. The both of the files should be copied in the startup scripts folder under the 3ds Max program files folder which usually is like this:
“C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2011\Scripts\Startup” for 64-bit release
or
“C:\Program Files (x86)\Autodesk\3ds Max 2010\Scripts\Startup” for 32-bit release

The problem concerns only the appearance of the new Bitmap to VRayHDRI texture converter in the QuadMenus.

Please write if there are further problems.

Best regards
Aleksandar
