VRay Clipper

V-Ray V-Ray for 3ds Max Issues

Hi,
Not a big deal…but I’ve just noticed that VRay Clipper doesn’t work with Chaos Scatter.
It would be great if it would work.

Hi, thanks for posting. What version of V-Ray are you using? The Clipper works with Chaos Scatter on my setup that uses 3ds Max 2024 and V-Ray 6.10.08. Here it is:

Hi,
Sorry, I did not explain well.
It works as clip but materials look incorrect from Cosmos. Do I do something wrong?

Hi, which Cosmos present are you using? I tested the Forest_001 and it works on my setup.

Hi,
I just used the preset Forest 001, as you.
So I don’t know why.

I’m using Max 2022, latest update VRay 1.2, latest update Cosmos 2023.10.30-347231

Enable the “Set material ID” checker and try a different ID. For instance ID3 is the leaves but you will have to check each tree to make sure.

Yes with Set Material ID works better.
Yes exactly…need to check one by one.
