I am working on a Sunset using the Vray dome camera. I have a few problems.
1. The dome camera does not have much control. It is extremely difficult to use it with the Vray Sun/sky. Can the physical camera settings be somehow mimicked on the dome camera.
2. I tried a work around by using the vray render settings, and applying a fisheye setting under the camera settings. The physical camera seems to ignore this change.
OK, I did the dome camera with linear color and reduced it to .04. They sky looks good but the props are messed up. Some very flat shading going on. Its prob. in my settings. Here are 2 images to compare. Any ideas?
Dome camera with color mapping seems to hate Adaptive DMC. Switched to subD. and cleaned up alot of jaggys. Tried to use DMC with universal settings and it looked like rock candy. I guess I just need to work through some settings on this. Any more tips would be great. I am curious why the DMC flipped out when i color mapped.
