Dear @alexander_mann ​, hello.

Please define the build that you are trying to install - is it from our Download section, latest stable build or?
You could add here a screenshot showing the name of the downloaded file.

Important is also the Houdini version.
Is there a discrepancy between Houdini version and the Houdini version displayed in the build name (here is 19.0.455)?

Hi, i am trying to install it on houdini 19.5, whereas the vray software is 19.0.455.

Yes the product is from your downloads section.

I followed the instructions found here: Installation

I put the install packages into houdini 19.5 packages folder

Don’t worry, just find the correct V-Ray build for the exact Houdini version here.
