Hi, just starting my V-Ray journey and have V-Ray for SketchUp.
I’d like to have the Frame buffer displayed on a second screen, but when I drag it the 2nd screen it just disappears - seems to be umbilically attached to the SketchUp window.
Cannot find anything in the Chaos Help or anything online to assist.
So, is it possible to display it on a 2nd screen?
Thank you
Kevin.
Hi,
Try to drag the Frame Buffer window all the way to the second screen.
If this does not work try:
On Windows - Win key and the arrows to snap it to the other monitor.
On Mac - Ctrl + Up key(Mission control) and drag the V-Ray Frame Buffer to the second screen.
Please submit a request here https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/requests/new so we can arrange a remote session so I can further assist.
Thank you - but I seem to have now fixed it.
I was using my Macbook pro screen as a second screen. Today I had a second monitor delivered. After setting that up I was able to drag the Frame buffer across to it whilst pressing the F3 key and releasing it once in place - it works.
It didn’t work with my Macbook, but it does on the monitor - so all good - thank you.
Kevin
