So we installed the latest hot fix 3 for Vray 6 - 3DSMax 2021. Now machines on our farm through backburner are reporting these errors - [V-Ray] Could not read V-Ray environment variable “VRAY_FOR_3DSMAX2021_MAIN”. Please re-install. We re-installed the hot-fix but it’s still happening. Anyone know how to fix it? Hot fix 2 did not have any issues.

Can you check the variable manually in the Windows Environment Variables menu? What value does it show?
So I went into one of the render boxes having issues and this is what the Environment Variables look like. Thanks again for the help.
I wanted to follow up. After multiple reboots and reinstalls, it seems like it finally stuck and those machines are now rendering with Hotfix 3. Thanks
