VRay IES lights and viewport

Hello,

I’ve just discovered a weird limitation of VRay IES lights, when it comes to viewport feedback of the IES profile web. Please check the attached preview, left is std 3dsmax IES, right is VRay one.

Could that be fixed please ?

It should be fixed already for V-Ray 2.0, if you have “enable hardware shading” turned on for the VRayIES light.

Thats cool. I didnt even realise you could preview vray IES lights in the viewport…cool !

I don’t know if I do something wrong, but that still doesn’t work (using viewport shading on Best / SM3.0)… IES lighting preview still doesn’t match :frowning:
