I cannot get VRay to run on my PC. I downloaded the trial to see how it works with Rhino. The application downloads just fine. When I double click the .exe file, a black window pops up and then crashes immediately. It seems like it’s trying to connect to a cloud license or something? I don’t know but it crashes immediately.
Sorry, no, it is not possible.
With Parallels, you are basically emulating our software that is made for an x86 CPU on an ARM CPU and both of these architectures use different instructions.
Hi, I had V-Ray installed via Parallels on an Intel-based iMac and everything worked fine. Now I wanted to do the same on a new Mac Studio with an M2 Ultra processor, but unfortunately it ended in failure because even though I installed V-Ray after changing the emulation mode of the installer, 3ds Max still wouldn’t load the dynamic libraries. From what you wrote earlier, there’s no way around this, right?
