maybe it’s a stupid question, but why can you set the vray light Mult. to negativ values, for example -30? 
can’t find a answer for this.

I’ve only noticed that you could do it…
in formZ you can make negative lights.

If you don’t use GI, negative lights can be helpfull in darkening some areas.
a negative light will remove the colour of its’ RGB value
a negative light will suck light out.
