Hello,
the otherwise quite perfect adaptive domelight becomes unusable for the final stills as it produces these known large square patches of uneven lighting:
as seen bellow - look around the bottom of the staircase area and concrete wall.
any idea when we can expect some progress or fix in this regard please?
As Philip said, it would be extremely helpful to take a look at the scene - we’ve done a couple of fixed already but I want to make sure your case is covered as well.
would you please then care to share some know-how on how to make a controllable backplate that doesnt affect GI in any way and doesnt receive/cast shadow?
Whats the correct and “compatible” way please?
Or is it “in the works” that these option will not make any trouble whatsoever to dome lights?
Yes, that’s the idea. There are a lot of “unphysical” tweaks that users like to use and the best solution is to make them work with the adaptive dome light.
Hm, some objects are set to not cast shadows. However, with around 3000 parts. I can’t identify which parts have that attribute.
Looking forward to a fix, because such a situation is quite common.
