Hi, not sure if this is a vray problem or a max or deadline problem… but hoping someone could help.
Getting this ‘MAXScript Rollout Handler Exception’ when trying to submit a vray rt job to deadline. See attached jpeg.
Any ideas whats happening here and how I might fix it?
Using Vray 3.50.04 and deadline 8.0
This seems like a Deadline issue and it would be best to report it to Thinkbox.

You can also try and do a clean install:
Uninstall V-Ray. After that , please check if there are any script files left in “C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max XXXX\scripts\startup” that have names starting with “vray” (i.e. vrayutils.ms, vrayinstall.ms, vraysceneexport.ms vraylightlister.ms)
and “C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max XXX\scripts\V-Ray”. If there are such files please remove them.
If that doesn’t help you should contact Thinkbox.
Thanks Zdravko, I tried the clean install but unfortunately this didn’t help. I will contact thinkbox and see if they know what the deal is.
My guess is that it is an Autodesk issue… which means I will probably never get an answer!
