Vray RT Verbose Level - can't scroll up message window

Hey guys!
When rendering with RT (production mode) there is so much information in the message window and I can’t scroll up to the warnings any more.
Im missing the verbose level option under system. Is there another option, by any chance, to reduce the flow of information?

You can always check the VRayLog.txt file itself; also the verbose option should still be accessible from MaxScript.

I tried:

rt=renderers.current
rt.system_vrayLog_level=2

but got an error message. What is the correct command for changing the verbose setting?

Hello Yavor and thank you for the information.
Now I tried:
rt=renderers.current
rt.V_Ray_settings.system_vrayLog_level=1

and tested different values from 0 to 4 but without any effect on the V-Ray messages window.

Hmm I checked - indeed RT as production fails to respect the verbose level setting. Sorry about that, I’ll add a note to our system for this.

There is also a bug currently that you can use as a workaround:
- In an empty scene with Adv as the production render set the verbose level to the desired level and do a test render.
- Open your scene with RT as production and render - the verbose level is not changed and will stay to the value you set previously.

Do you think it will be possible to change the verbose settings in V-Ray GPU Next - in the near future? Any plans on that issue?
I still have the problem of not being able to read the warnings because of too much information rushing by.

You can always check out the full log file which by default is called vraylog.txt in your temp folder (type %temp% in Windows Explorer to do there). I will make a note to increase the memory buffer for messages in the window itself.
