It appears as though vray does not like Max 6’s camera correction modifier (when you adjust the amount). I get white splothes on my rendering. Are there any fixes for this?
thanks

Hi Ken,
In Vray System settings (Render dialog, Renderer folder)
You must UNcheck MAX-compatible Shade Context (work in camera space)
hope it helps

Thanks Fermi. You da man. That did the trick.
Should I always uncheck MAX-compatible Shade Context ?

Is there a script or “something” out there for Viz for to do this?
Thanks.

If you’re using VIZ 4, its in the Modifier pulldown in the main menu.. Go to Modifiers/Camera/Camera correction modifier.
It doesn’t appear in the modifier pulldown for some strange reason..
I dont see it in the modifier panel…does anyone have any clue?
Any help appreciated.

FYI - i found it. whats funny is the user reference actual works…lol
its not in the modifier panel…
if you right click on the camera in the viewport, you can select camera modifier there…
